The flower slowly appeared on the white paper. Her paintbrush glided over the small surface with ease, creating a perfect copy of the flowers that sprung from the ground all around her. The garden was her favorite place at school, its where she didn't have to worry about anything. It made the whole place seem a little less like hell.
If anyone were to walk upon her painting, they'd probably think she was a whole other person. She was actually pleasant, and wouldn't snap or glare at you.
Bella sighed, pulling a smaller paintbrush from behind her ear and setting it beside her, the small sketch book following. She capped the small paint bottles and leaned back against the tree she'd been using to protect her from the sun.
Not many people tended to wander through her 'secret' spot, which was probably the main reason she enjoyed it. There was no one, absolutely no one to bother her. Most days.
She stretched her arms above her head for a moment, letting out a small yawn. She couldn't have been out there very long but of course, she was tired already. Standing, she brushed her jeans off and straightened out her shirt, glancing around to see if there was anyone to bother.
